A COMMITMENT TO PRESERVATION

David Garschagen served on the board of the Historic Preservation Commission in Moultrie, GA for many years and Brandon Godwin  served on the Thomasville Landmarks Board of Directors  for several years while also leading the Boston, GA Historic Preservation Commission. 

CURRENT & PAST PROJECTS

We work with a wide variety of clients, from overseeing personal restoration projects to restoring historic homes for private clients, governments and in collaboration with other architectural firms. We are proud of a portfolio that encompasses homes recognized by local associations and even HGTV.

Due to the poor condition of the house at the beginning of construction, liberty was taken to introduce

a new style of balustrade and columns to the front porch, as the client desired.

This project was led by Rubio Studio out of Chicago, where Elva Rubio was lead architect of design and construction documents. Brandon Godwin assisted with as-built drawings and some of the construction documents.

Brandon played a significant role in the design and construction documents while with Olson Arch before starting his own firm. The project included adding an Apse as well as a new staircase to the Narthex.
